The high sierra lakes and mountains never disappoint, as John Muir famously shared. The summer evening I shot this photograph, we had still waters that reflected a mirror image of the mountains with patches of snow in the last light of the day. Enjoy this image near a popular trail above Rock Creek Canyon in aptly named Mosquito Flats, without the buzzing of those pesky insects!
