This vintage treadle sewing machine was left behind in Lottie Johl’s living room at the ghost town of Bodie. One of many artifacts that remain to tell the story of a different way of life in the gold mining boom and bust era. Hang this vintage beauty in your sewing room or laundry room and connect with those days gone by.

The fabric is a mid-weight linen-cotton blend, custom printed in the United States and hemmed in my Bishop, California studio. It come with a wood bar, tucked into corner pockets so it is ready to hang on a nail or hook on your wall.

Care instructions: If needed, wash separately in cool or warm water using a gentle machine cycle. Machine dry using a low temperature setting. Use an iron with on a cotton setting and iron from the back side, to avoid possible color transfer.
